Web3 gaming studio Qooverse has announced the completion of its Pre-Seed funding round, raising an undisclosed amount. The round was led by Paper Ventures, with participation from Animoca Brands, Merit Circle, and several angel investors.
Qooverse, founded by a team of creatives with backgrounds at Tencent and Goldman Sachs, is currently developing casual social games based on popular messaging platforms like Telegram. The studio plans to launch its token generation event (TGE) in early 2025.
This funding marks an exciting step forward for Qooverse as it looks to carve out a niche in the growing Web3 gaming space, combining social interaction and gaming on platforms where users are already active.
