How to Import MetaMask to Trust Wallet

Hey crypto fans! If you’re switching from MetaMask to Trust Wallet, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, I’ll walk you through how to import your MetaMask wallet into Trust Wallet, so you can easily access all your crypto assets.

Step 1: Backup Your MetaMask Seed Phrase

Before you do anything, make sure you have your MetaMask seed phrase backed up. It’s a 12-word phrase that you’ll need to import your wallet.

  • Open MetaMask and click on the menu (three horizontal lines).
  • Go to Settings, then Security & Privacy.
  • Tap on Reveal Secret Recovery Phrase and write it down (store it safely!).

Step 2: Install Trust Wallet

If you don’t have Trust Wallet yet, you can download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  • Search for Trust Wallet and hit Install.

Step 3: Open Trust Wallet and Set Up a New Wallet

Once Trust Wallet is installed:

  • Open the app.
  • Select Create a new wallet.
  • Agree to the Terms of Service.

Step 4: Import MetaMask into Trust Wallet

Now it’s time to import your MetaMask wallet:

  • In Trust Wallet, go to the Settings tab (bottom right).
  • Tap Wallets and then Add Wallet.
  • Choose I already have a wallet.
  • Select Restore from Seed Phrase.
  • Enter your MetaMask 12-word seed phrase carefully (the one you backed up earlier).
  • Hit Import.

Step 5: Done!

That’s it! Your MetaMask wallet is now imported into Trust Wallet. You should be able to see all your assets right there.
