Welcome to the world of crypto! If you’re new to Crypto.com and wondering how to get started, you’re in the right place. In this beginner-friendly guide, we’ll show you how to set up your account and make your first trade step by step.

Step 1: Sign Up on Crypto.com

  1. Download the Crypto.com app from the App Store or Google Play, or visit their website.
  2. Open the app or site, and click on Sign Up.
  3. You can register with your email or phone number.
  4. Create a secure password and verify your email or phone number to complete the signup.

Step 2: Complete KYC (Identity Verification)

Crypto.com requires identity verification for security reasons. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your profile and select Identity Verification.
  2. Enter your personal details, including your name and address.
  3. Upload a valid ID (passport, driver’s license, etc.) and a selfie for verification.
  4. Once approved, you’ll be ready to fund your account.

Step 3: Deposit Funds into Your Crypto.com Account

Now, let’s add some funds to your Crypto.com account. You can deposit either fiat (USD, EUR, etc.) or cryptocurrency.

Option 1: Deposit Fiat

  1. Tap on “Accounts” and choose “Fiat Wallet”.
  2. Select “Deposit” and choose your currency.

  3. Copy the deposit address and send your crypto from another wallet or exchange.
  4. Wait for the transaction to confirm.

Step 4: Buy Crypto on Crypto.com

Now that your account is funded, it’s time to buy some crypto!

  1. Open the “Trade” tab in the app or website.
  2. Select the cryptocurrency you want to buy (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
  3. Choose whether to place a Market Order (buy at the current price) or a Limit Order (set your price).
  4. Enter the amount you want to buy and confirm the order.
  5. Once the order is complete, your crypto will appear in your Crypto Wallet.

For added security, you can move your crypto to a Crypto Wallet (either the app’s built-in wallet or an external hardware wallet).
